Instructions
Step #1: Download fastboot package and TWRP recovery to your PC.
Step #2: Unzip fastboot.zip file to get fastboot folder, then unzip TWRP zip file to get recovery-twrp-kamma-beta1.img file and then copy this file to fastboot folder.
Step #3: Move fastboot folder to C:\ drive.
Step #4: Connect the phone to PC using a USB cable, PC may for driver installation, let the installation finish.
Step #5: Open up command prompt and navigate to fast folder, to do so type “cd c:\Fastboot” and press enter or if you’re using Windows 7 or above, you can open up the command prompt directly from the fastboot folder, to do so open the folder, there press right click while holding down shift button on keyboard and then select “open command window here”.
Step #6: Enter following command to make sure your phone is connect with PC or not, it will generate phone serial number, if it doesn’t show any number, your phone is not connected properly:
fastboot devices
Step #7: Enter following command to reboot phone in bootloader mode:
adb reboot bootloader
Step #8: Enter following command to install recovery:
fastboot flash recovery recovery-twrp-kamma-beta1.img
Step #9: Once the installation is done, enter following command to reboot phone:
fastboot reboot
Step #10: Unplug phone from PC.
That’s it, you’re done, the TWRP recovery is now installed on your Oppo Find 5. To put phone in TWRP recovery mode, turn the phone off and then reboot phone by holding down volume down and power buttons. If you experience any error, leave a comment below.
