Install ParanoidAndroid ROM For Galaxy Note 2 N7100

Some people love to use all modes in one phone and Android development community is well-known to provide solutions like a recognized XDA developer imilka has released ParanoidAndroid custom ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 that packs all modes – phone, tablet and phablet while offering some of best customization features and apps.

The ParanoidAndroid is great to tweak the interface of your Galaxy Note 2 even some of useful apps to make your life smarter than before as you can’t only switch between three modes but also customize others like ability to change apps size, multiuser support, and more, as I said the ParanoidAndroid ROM for Galaxy Note 2 also offer so many handy apps such as transparent bars and color pickers, new Syst

The ClockworkMod recovery must be installed on your Galaxy Note 2, be sure to check out this guide to install ClockworkMod recovery or use all-in-one toolkit to do so. Make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the Paranoid Android ROM for Galaxy Note 2 from here and Google Apps package from here. You also need to download flash fix.

Step #2: Transfer all downloaded zip files to internal SD card of your Galaxy Note 2.

Step #3: Turn the device off.

Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power buttons (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).

Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.

Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.

Step #7: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.

Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.

Step #9: Repeat previous step and install the Google Apps package zip file in same manner.

Step #10: Once again repeat the step 8 and install the “flash fix” zip file in same manner.

Step #11: Now select wipe cache and confirm on the next screen. Lastly select “advanced”, then select wipe delvik and confirm the action.

Step #12: Select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your Galaxy Note 2.

That’s it, the ParanoidAndroid custom ROM is now installed on your Galaxy Note 2. If you run into any roadblock, leave a comment.
