Thanks to popular XDA developer Chainfire, now you can easily root your Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro with Chainfire’s CF-Auto Root tool. It is pretty easy to use, this Galaxy Tab Pro will load a custom recovery first, then root the device and then restore the stock recovery back.

How To Root Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro
Requirements:
Use a Windows PC and make sure device drivers are installed on computer.
Disable KIES and firewall & antivirus apps that can disturb Odin.
Step #1: Download CF-Auto Root tool for your tablet depending on variant, you can device detail from Setting>About Device/Tablet:

Step #2: Unzip the downloaded file into a folder and run Odinxx.exe file.
Step #3: Turn off your tablet and reboot into download mode by pressing and holding down volume down, home and power keys.
Step #4: Click on AP or PDA button in Odin and locate the.tar.md5 file that you got from downloaded root package.
Step #5: Connect device to computer, when “ADDED” message appears in Odin, press “Start” button to start the installation.
It will start installation of a recovery. Once it is installed successfully, your tab will reboot in recovery mode and install SuperSU. If your tablet does not access the recovery mode automatically, turn it off and reboot in recovery mode manually by holding down volume up button along with power button. Once the SuperSU is installed, the package will restore the store recovery and reboot into Android.
That’s it, you are rooted now. You can check whether the tab is rooted successfully or not with root checker application (download from Play Store). This method increases the flash counter that you can reset with Chainfire’s Triangle away to reset the flash counter (Play Store Link – APK Link).
